In these I’m going to be putting my thoughts and feelings on series that I have just finished (when I remember of-course).
Nazca
So what do Inca warriors and priest, Japan, Re-incarnation and anime have in common… Not much unless of-course you are referring to the anime series Nazca which is a series that is about just those things.
So lets expand on this a little bit, a high school boy and his friends find out they they are the re-incarnations of ancient Inca warriors becuase of a local Kendo master finding out the same thing about himself. It also just so happens that these warriors where involved in a fight over and incredible power that could destroy the world with some aligning with the Inca Warrior Yawaru (The kendo master) or Warrior Bilka (Kyoj the main character).
Okay so their is out plot some reincarnated dudes are fighting over a ancient Inca magical power and of-course have magical powers themselves, well I got to give it to the creator (Tokita Hiroko) I haven’t seen Inca’s in anime before but apart from that the plot is a bit generic but entertaining none the less but what really struck me about the series was the design of the Inca warriors… lets have a look at a some of them.
Just look at the clothing, so stylish and the hair I mean the purple hair can defy gravity when it wants to.
Feathers in the hair are defiantly in in this series and the priestess outfit…
All joking aside the animation and designs are incredibly well done in this series and don’t seem that silly while your watching it.
Next on the list we have….
Aika R-16 Virgin Mission
So the first episode of the new OVA Aika Zero has just been subbed so I thought I would look it up and found that it was related to a series called Agent Aika which in turn I found was had prequel called the aforementioned. So I thought I would start at the very beginning and this is what I got…
So the “plot”. Aika a 16 year old who has just got her C-Class salvager license gets hired by her fellow class mates and members of the treasure hunting club (which is one of “those” clubs) who want her to take them underwater to solve the mystery of their sempai’s mark (marked in the red ring below).
We now have a plot to drive us forward which in this series, in my opinion, just give the creators a chance to find ways of slowly undressing the cast and offer some amazing camera shots (why shot from the top down when you can go from down up ad get the pants in) but it worth watching for the final scenes and the hillarity that it brigs with it.
So in all we have a series that has a lose plot that is just excuse for panty shots and breasts and compromising positions needless to say I’m now downloading the original series and going to be watching the new series (^_^)
